VLSI Digital & System Design (120 Hours)
The course aims to provide students a thorough understanding of the fundamental concepts and design of VLSI systems. It teaches digital circuit design process, design methodologies of VLSI systems, various concepts of VLSI systems such as MOS transistors, and digital CMOS logic designs.
Students will learn how to develop architecture using industry standard tools, design digital circuits, as well as verification of large scale designs. They will get a direct and inclusive treatment of VLSI design processes and rules of designs.
VLSI System Verilog (48 Hours)
The course teaches how to apply System Verilog to do synthesis and analysis; layout, circuit, logic, and architecture design. It teaches System Verilog's key concepts such as data types, RTL design, Interfaces, clocking, assertion-based verification, and classes. The course provides a number of code samples and examples to give students a better feel for the language. It equips students to design a high performance IC or VLSI chip by imparting knowledge of all aspects of digital design, from architecture, application algorithm to fabrication
